Don't think I've seen this mentioned here yet:

http://www.voxengo.com/pspace/

1.5 ms latency  Links in with their impulse modeller too!

Whilst we're talking about imulse reverbs, does anybody know of a sample delay similar to analogue X's sampleslide, but is VST-based? To use e.g. SIR as a send effect in Cubase, one needs to introduce a delay into the main signal path and sampleslide's DirectX only.

Unless...can somebody explain to this simple mellon farmer how to combine D-X & VST interfaces in Cubase (never tried using D-X before "it's for games"...)

upon opening the program, cubase recognizes all of the dx plugs available and puts them in the flip menus.i have logic,sx and sonar3 on the same machine and i can use sonar plugs in logic and cubase with no problems.

just mix freely.

hi, Royston
I don't know any technical explanation about the difference but I use Dx plugs the exactly same way as Vst ones.

Will do. There's a discussion based on a comparison between SIR, Pristine Space & Revolverb on the Noisevalut forum...seems like Revolverb's still at the beta stage (and has a few issues that need ironing out).

The ability to chain together convolution processing in Pristine Space is interesting, though...perhaps chain together IRs derived from a top-end cabinet, preamp & compressor..?
