Good idea, theorically allows midi recording, but I always obtain crashes, related with midi echoing; it seems to generate a continuous loop of midi data between sequencer and Pulsar

well its only 40 bucks so i guess it has that going for it, also was the reason i purchesed it without trying the demo first. the overall timing when synced to cubase is real sucky. i get much better results using the cubase arp to create arp sequences that play back with much tighter timing. would be a great device if it would sync real close to cubase, but overall i find that syncing any pulsar device to cubase produces lackluster results, the bpms can be seen moving up and down when the tempo is supposed to be steady....

I use it to create loops on DSP-expensive ModV2 patches which I then sample. Works like a charm. I love it. And cheap as chips.

(I never try to sync this thing to anything, life's too short.)

synchronisation seems to be the greatest problem

i think the sync issue is the fault of the MIDI protocol more than the fault of pulsar/cubase . . .
