I go jazzy…

Post by Nestor »

Here I go jazzy… The sound of the lead guitar is… like… silk… air… flower… fantastic! I get to try different nuances and harmonics by pressure, near the breach. The sounds are pretty amazing, harmonics are there despite the fact I did the solo with a quite obscure sound, with little high frequencies. I wanted to try out some truly fusion jazz sounding guitars. The answer:

KILLER!!!!!!!

Listen to it and be surprised.

The deep bass you can here behind, it is of course, also the BAM, I love it!

As a musician which has played guitar and bass for a long time, not having the possibilities of getting such expensive and extremely heavy and gig amplifiers, I fond a solution to my problems. I need to be inspired with I make my solos, if not, there is nothing happening and you just stop playing… I’ve tried about 20 pedal FX for guitar distortion, and the only thing I’ve got was great deceptions, and they were very expensive. The sound are always rough and noisy.

The only thing I would like to have, along the BAM, would be a G5 or something like that, but this is so expensive. Nevertheless, I don’t need anything for my guitar and bass now, I have everything I need.

´The middle is very independent indeed,
i would hear more presence from the guitar
i find it is a little bit too far(just me),
but the mix sounds very good, give it a chance
and make a longer song.It have live flair.
Very nice !

Cheer Submarine!

Well, this is not a song really, I did it with the only purpose to show what the BAM can do. So I'm sure it could be better in many ways.

Wow, I thought the guitar was loud enough already... I'll thihk about it. Cheers.

may be it's loud enough, it's the reverb which places the guitar far away
To compensate this effect by dynamics
is tricky.
You better can try a longer predelay and less signal on the reverb while putting up the dampf.
I know, it wasn't a song...but may be usefull

Cheers for the tip Hubird  In fact, I've done all those tunes quite fast, just for people to see what you can get out of this powerful device. I have not really mix anything. There is no reverb, or any other FX at all, the guitar was processed through the BAM using its own internal FX. The far away, as you rightly point out, is made with the Echo from the BAM.
