Hi All

I am getting started on MAC here and need some pointers from MAC users Please.

in XP I can create a new program and drag a wave file into my keygroup list and be able to play the wave via my keyboard.

in MAC I can not do that. excuse my ignorance but how to load a wave in MAC and play that wave via my keyboard.

thanks

i hardly have used STS, so i won't be of too much help.

so are you saying you cannot load a .wav or .aiff in STS, or do you mean you can load it, but nothing happens when playing the keyboard?

some suggestions: does the wave view show in sample editor? do midi channels match? outputs?
sorry to state the obvious...

maybe i've overlooked something the last few years, but sample pools, STS, sample OSC in modular,... they all seem to have something weird on my mac...

but unlike my PC I can'y load a wave or (aiff) into the sampler . it simply does not copy in. I must be missing something as I am new to the MAC world.

thanks

does anything happen when dragging a sample from the 'file browser' (look in the live bar under 'set') into a keygroup?
