I just bought reason for my home setup, but I can't get it to work in logic using rewire...
Anyone have a solution or the same problem?
The manual stated that Reason wasn't compatible with Logic at that time. But there has been at least 4 updates since the release.
please help.

Oh, I would like to have your machine... How did you reach it? But seriously - if your observation is cubase latency window (in audio/setup) then don't belive it. It shows what it likes to show (if you try to use sound manager driver). I would like to be wrong...On 2001-08-13 14:34, Air_PoLLo wrote:

The built-in card has a max latency of 11ms (without ASIO)
By the way - had anyone of you problems with pulsar soundmanager drivers? In my system (G4/400/Pulsar1/LunaII/448MB) only soundmanager out works properly. If I want to record using even simple recording apps (TWE, D-Sound PRO) it warns me the sound input is incompatible/there is no input/my system freezes... Any suggestions, please?
I'm pretty sure my computer is a Mac
The strangest thing happened when i tried the Reason demo with Logic. The latency on my soft synts (VSTi) i had 4 ms latency (same as Pulsar) but the latency on Reason was really annoyingly high. I don't know why as rewire programs should have the same latency as the host but this was'nt the case.
I only tried it briefly so i never really tried to get to the bottom with the problem.
But the latency was there, that i know.
Maybe i'll look into it later.

Well, I don't use Cubase, but I was talking about the built-in card. And it shows 17ms. The latency was stuck at 11ms in reason for some reason. (get the joke?)
The figures for the soundmanager drivers on the pulsar remains to be tested.
