GPO strings goes to the disco

And was quite surprised that it worked quite well despite the library being gear towards symphonic material.

well done Ken, and I'm glad to see you're on the train again

Wasn't the use of orchestral sounds (strings at least) quite normal in disco music? I would consider this as very close to disco rather than to house music

Very groovy this. i really like the funky bass you've played in this sample

i would put a small reverb on the strings sound. their to clean now for this style of music.

thnx for the tip about the reverb. I did another version with more reverb, and I like it much better.

The strings work really well, and I agree - it's more disco to my ears too.

Funny equalization, perhaps the conversion?, it sounds in the middle only range.

I didn't find those strings particularly switting for this kind of music. There I would prefer something more classical sounding, just a matter of taste.
