Hm, I see no problem here.
You can load any M2 patch and when you add Flexor or modIII modules you can load them later without any problems. Maybe you must go through all presets and save them again though.
The patch may appear in a mod2 window but can be only loaded when you have Flexor and/or modIII.

Is it that what you asked for?

Yes, my "old" MII patches opens in a MII window, even if I add MIII modules in.
New patches initially made with MIII always open in a MIII window.
Every thing works fine, no problem, but ...

There is a very interesting new fonctionnality in MIII, the integrated remote.
That's why, I really want to migrate my MII patches to MIII.

But how can I ? Thanks

You cannot, unless you manually rebuild the patch in mod3 and redo all the presets

yep, rebuilding the presets can be a yery time-consuming task. But rebuilding the patch w/o presets can be done quickly by doing some copy-and-pasting from Mod2 to ModIII.In Mod2, select your favourite preset and copy the modules into the ModIII container.

Ok, I use copy/paste on each module to convert my patches from MII to MIII window, works ok. Just had to wire all the module again.

Then I tried the MRC (remote control), but I don't know how to make the link between the MRC knobs with the wanted modules knobs, anybody knows ?

Thank you

According to SFP Modular III manual p.14, right-click a controller while holding Shift (PC) or Ctrl (Mac).

I think I have to download the manual, I didn't get it with my purchase.

Is it possible to apply formulas on knobs movements ?
example : - when I move my physical knob on my midi controller from 0 to 127 the virtual knob will move from 25 to 75
- when I move the physical the virtual will move twice faster.

Thank you

Yes, the manual has some essentials if you want to use the modular!

Some basic maths functions are available since long:
- a Mix2 (M2) w max levels or an Adder (M3) add 2 values,
- a Ringmodulator (M2) multiplies both input values,
- Ringmod'ing a signal with a ConstB @ -64 or ValMonitor @ -1, inverts it.

Flexor adds more precision and options. ValMonitor can have precise values rather than a -64,+64 division. DC Shift does what it says and has 2 mod inputs. Granular sequencer makes an automated switch. Poly Rhythmer let's you define incoming bipolar signals to a new range.

Also j9k has a precision sending module, which outputs and displays a custom value in different units: Hz, dB, decimal,...

Here's some to start with, you'll come up with more once you've read the manual
