That's my problem:
I've got a p4 2.6 ghz with hypert and i865 chipset with graphic card integrated.
On that system i've installed a pulsar1+luna2 sharing the same irq in apic mode(not standard).
Setting ully at 3ms I get a low noise(not crackles)when starting a project in cubase sx2.That noise is getting higher when I load plugs or vsti(require cpu).
I've tried all the asio drivers avaibles but nothing changes.
On a p4 2 ghz I can work with a rme card at 3ms hering no noise..
Why?Maybe hypert tecnology?
