Now the 2K drivers are on the horizon, I'm thinking about using my pulsar for what I bought it: as an active loudspeaker filter. Only problem is there are no usable filters for this purpose. Does anybody knows where to find some of the following filters: bessel, butterwort, phase linear, state variable. Second order or higher.

I've built these in the hardware analog domain before for a Physics class, but I doubt you'll get any responses here since I think usually developers just use the Creamware filters -- and not sure which algorithms they're using inside those atoms.

Don't know either, but I measured some out and they are completely unusable for that purpose. It would be great if it was possible as the flexibility for changing and experimenting is incredible. Change a hardware active filter: you are busy for an evening, if you have the parts, and switching between 2 types is near impossible.

Before I bought my pulsar I asked creamware about it, but never gor any reply. At that time I tought they just didn't bother with would be customers, so I went ahead. Nox I know they never reply. As this is would for me be the only serious use of pulsar, I'm disapointed to say the least. Even a simple FIR module where you have to fill in the coeficients yourself would make my day.

Problem is that for writing them myself I would need a scope. But for that money you can have not only special designed digital filters (like labgruppen) but a couple speakers as well. Think I will go for a self designed digital one. Maybe I can recover the dsp's from the pulsar

Not as bad as those I tought when I was measuring those filters.

Would not go anyway. Those AD chip are fragile.
