when i was talking about pitch changing i meant while working on the sounds people have allready uploaded. for instance there is a fabulous vocal drone sound from Chris Werner. if I change the pitch at the end of the loop the song is still in D minor, but the sound is quite different.
apart from clarifying that for me do not change the rules they are fine.
lol @ recording vstis with a microphone btw. it can and will be done
Hi Neutron, nice to have you in that contest.
From my view there is no problem, bend my sound as you like.
Nestor, he´s talking about the final 160bar mix, there we can mix like we want, or? Without VST stuff, hard for me but a nice task.

Oookeyy, now I've got the picture! Yes of course, this is a great idea, and you are nevertheless still working in Dminor.
Will you record VST instruments through Pulsar and then passing them through some of our SCOPE plug-ins? This is trully wild, I love the idea... What kind of interesting and unheard sounds can we get there???

Hi Chris... You know? In the last contest, when we were to use Modular synths, etc., I did a song using very little things, everything in Pulsar and felt terrible not to be able to use VST or anything else, but now it is one of the songs I like most from last this two years.
Get into it, it will certainly push your creativity to a different area, and this is always positive. We are constantly talking about how getting new ideas and the juices of creativity going, well... this is a great opportunity for doing so. Best wishes for you in this contest!

What if i use an echo chamber (my bathroom or a car park or something) to record the playback of the VSTI from a speaker to a microphone. then it IS recorded with microphone! yet i have also cheated by using "external processing" a natural echo chamber.
not that i would ever do this just to give judges a conniption fit
That´s a nice idea Neutron, I´ll give it a try with my OKM2 mics, sitting in front of my monitors and recording VST stuff, strange but funny.
Also I can move my head for live surround panning, haha.
