Cubase sx has problem picking up the Sfp vst (synths) when loading up. After reading manual Sfp it talks about enable/disable the xtc mode in settings. By doing either sx doesnt seem to pick up the vst's..is there something else i can try.

I have a pulsar 2 v3.1c on standard p4 computer

check if there is an XTC directory in your cubase sx/vst plugins directory.

if there is an xtc directory then go to the devices menu option in cubase en choose vst plugins. Press rescan and it will find your xtc plugins.

If there isn't an xtc directory in your cubase sx/vst plugin directory then you installed cubase sx after your installation of sfp. You need to uninstall your SFP and reinstall the sfp suite. SFP will detect your existing cubase sx installation and will install the xtc plugins in the appropriate directory.

hope this helps

i uninstalled/reinstalled sx same prob.Sx directories show the Sfp vst's, i click on them and press update and they untick themselves.error message- plugins fail to load..

when i tick the xtc box Sfp, sx messages on boot up- xtc plugins unavailable while another creamware application is running. maybe i unistall sfp now and try again

For XTC to work, SFP has to be shutdown completely

They'll work after that...

1- SFP shutdown
2- start SX
3- update (or rescan) plugins
4- shutdown SX
5- restart SX
