Also, a port to LINUX!!! Having done the work to port to MAC OSx, which is unix based, it shouldn't be too hard to release a linux port. Then if Cubase will do the same, I can trash WinDoze forever!!!

The future is Open Source, and CW's hardware based business model is totally compatable with open source software.

I thought to stay away from this thread (as this is SOOO many times discussed, but..)

Now we are Speaking! Maybe CW could even release an own linux version, modified for audio use

My much-touted wishes from CW are development for NOAH:
- Weighted keyboard version
- Modular (+Flexor) for NOAH
- Sampler for NOAH (and CD drive for it, maybe even HD)
- (E)Piano modelling
- Sequencer, or just midi playback at least

CW, give me these and I'll buy two of them! And I'm sure, many others would too.

I want more devices for mixing and enhace mixing, like VINCO, more emulation synths, like OSCar, more original synths, like Virus, Novation, etc..., more sampler based synths like Korg Triton, Roland VariOS, etc... and finally correct all bugs in SFP.
Really SFP has not competitors in sound quality.
Please an emulation of Avalon mic preamp.

I love the sound, flexability, the synths, OPTIMASTER (sorry for shouting)

I would like to see the bug fixes to SFP and XTC (so close....) and most important more feedback from Creamware (please keep in touch with your user base)

I just made an awesome Boards of Canada sounding patch usin UKnow007 and played with it for an hour after my computer crashed as I had the knobs programmed into my Remote25. CW, keep doing what you're doing.

Having said that, a super simple midi sequencer (non-step like the modular stuff) like the one my K2500 has would be cool.

1. MacOS X compability.
2. STS upgrade, a S+S architecture like XV-5080 etc. A new user interface (one panel please).
3. Remote control and automation improvements.
4. Info & SDK for developers included (not necessary DP).
5. Graphics through OS API (better performance, hardware acceleration).

I think the controller system could definitely be improved. Multiple knobs should be able to be controlled by one controller, and there should be other input options -- such as aftertouch on the controller list.

Merge Creamware with Windows, Linux, OSX, Unix and other systems, into ONE ALL cross platform running organisation; get all don C-sound writers offering their services to get rid of this "Preset and Play" with yourself "crack" addiction fascination that's here to stay; making Max/MSP patches compatible within Cream (so it's fully intergrated with AUs, C-sound, SuperCollider, and other freeware and sequencer software); using the Yamaha m-LAN protocol instead of MIDI (MIDI being so farking slow that one hears what they played 5 minutes ago in real-time!?!? never understoood that) and so we can re-program our protocols in more original & imaginative ways; able to make music with people across the globe in real-fine-sublime-time (two heads are better than one: threesonlyonemoreman); and to be able to imagine samples/melodies/music and record it into creamware in real-time via AirPort (do nitrous oxide and listen to airport in your cranium)... Rather fitting bearing in mind cream! Oh, and one last thing: bring back analogue synths (and outlaw ALL digital emulations): WE NEED REAL TIME SOUND FREQUENCIES TO BE BROADCAST STRAIGHT INTO A PCs AT "CONTINUOUS RESOLUTION" IN REAL-TIME...

Trip on yourselves! Peace!

Creamware rules!!!
But...

- fix the bugs
- lower the prices of software
- make graphic UI more light (a.e.video card usage) or...
- WHY NOT???: a complete new OS, more integrated in WinXP (or OSX) like standard interfaces/programs, derivate form the amazing SCOPE 4.0 OS but with VST/i full implementation like UAD or PoCo!!!
With SCOPE U can set and save all of synth's, effectr's and Modular's patch, then in VST U can use it as standard soft synth/sotf efx without strange interface and with full compatibility. Thanks.

I don't think that this develope could be so expensive for Creamware and several people could be new customer because the VST standard (but with the SCOPE QUALITY!!!)

All I want right now from Creamware is more of their cards... I think I've got what I was looking for. I have to agree about the STS series, they should be rebuild from gound "0". In all other areas, I am more than happy, completely full.

creamware is still the best concept on the market.
there is no equal to its soundquality and to the audio/midi routing possibility you can achieve.
it's simply fabulous
CW should only promote the concept and spread the knowledge of SFP
moreover, CW has definitely to lower the prices: now there are good board at 100-200 bucks (i'm thinking about emu, tascam, m.audio...).
luna should be placed in this price range (c'mon... it's 4 or 5 years old board!!!!), pulsar 2 just a little more and scope should definitely be a little above 500-600€. then lower the plugin prices!!!!! even if they are far better than vst instruments, CW owner has to spend a little less to own the plugins... and rise the demo time!!!!!!! make them beep, make them silent after 5 minutes and then you have to releoad... but change the demo-system... CW is not craked yet, so don't worry...
the last thing is, as other used said, to spread the developing package. if all used had access to it, and can make freware devices, the platford would gain a tremendous power.

finally, in order to promote CW concept, i propose to put online some video about the sfp concept, and eventually a "virtual SFP" demo for windows, with which a potential user can understand what he can do with the routing window of sfp.
beside this, organize a community on CW site (this existed before, but now i see no sign of life), in which every user can insert its setup and his demosong, and can be contacted by other user or potential user. i imagine a form in "my page" on CW site in which the user can insert datail about its studio, its setup, its feeling about creamware, and even it's songs made with creamware. first of all, it's an occasion for peoples to be online. then this page will be part to an online database accessible to every one.

for future SFP incarnation: i'd like the possibility to "switch" effect and channel on the 24/48 mixer. for example: i have a compressor on channel 1. i want to copy the comp with its setting to cahnnel 2: i just drag and drop the comp on ch1, holding shift, and it's copied on ch2 (more or less like in sonar). and i even like to switch channel strips (exchange ch1 with ch2). last thing, a better midi implementation!
