I keep getting these error messages in my three card system...

Especially when I use Minimax and STS5000, I had a big project using most of my 22 DSPs and when I tried to load it, I just got both these error messages and had to keep "gloabal optimizing" but the project never loaded.

This is the setup...

scope(board 0), pulsar I, luna II (single stdm connector)

The cards are all on the same IRQ (5).

Windows XP set to "standard pc".

Using SFP 3.1C and Cubase SX.

Pentium 4 2.4B with 845E mobo.

Any tips or suggestions would be nice, I'm thinking of just selling my Pulsar I since I hardly ever use more than the DSPs on the PowerPulsar

Try loading a small project with each card separately. You must do an elimination test to see if a card is defective first.

Yeah, the Pulsar1 might be the culprit. When I eliminated a Pulsar1 board from my setup a lot of problems (incl the two you mention) went away.
At least, make sure you're not using the I/O on the pulsar1, use the powerpulsar only.

I have the same problem with my Pulsar II+XTC+PowerSampler (total of 15 DSP x 2 STDM Cables).
I know that a lot of people have the same problem, there's an interesting post here in the forum, search for "STDM" or "DSP OVERLOAD" or similar.
Seems an horrible SFP bug coz if u try to change the sampling rate of the pulsar to 32 KHZ or to 48KHZ and after all set back to 44KHZ sometimes solve the problem.
It's a very strange problem...the dsp overload comes only after the reloading of the project. To load a project click NO when SFP ask to optimize the project.Disconnect devices such as synths,fx's or channels from the mixer and try to lower the synths polyphony to zero.
We must ask together to the creamwhore staff to solve this fucking problem!!!
