The result is strange.
I´ve used two tracks only, one EDS8 and one Prisma track.
The sounds from the EDS8 sounds absolutly different in 96 and when you watch the track with a spectrum analyzer you will see the difference. The Hihats moved for aprox 4000Hz and change to a more noisy sound.(?)
Anyway, decide yourself if you produce in 96 or 44,100.
First you´ll hear the pure 44,1 version and then the 96 one. I have used the L2 for mastering and dithering. Both versions have the same settings of course.

It sounds like there something wrong with the way eds reacts to the samplerate. Obviously, the snare's pitch has gone way up high in the 96khz version. Other than that, I don't see much of an improvement in the overall musicality of the track. Of course, most all of these minute details are lost on the mp3 compression I'm sure. Thanx for taking the time to conduct the experiment tho.

The EDS doesn't seem to be programmed properly to produce the same sounds at 96K. Also the Prisma seemed a lot louder, but that could be because of better-reproduced frequencies. It's all kind of silly -- the MP3 masks any improvement you'd hear!
But thanks for making the demo.

It is late, so I can't put it to the out, but I'm leastening to it through the headphones, and everybody would agree that the second is better than the first.
In the first, the hats sounds very rugh and even a bit umpleasant to my ears. In the second one, everything sounds better, and I can hear lots of detalis that are not in the first one.
List of details heard in the second one not heard in the first one:
* The surrounding notes from the patch you have chosen, are different, they clan be distiguised while in the first are not there.
* The drum sounds are much more separate from each other.
* The high end is not rugh, but gentle and quite pleasant.
* The snare sounds more realistic.
* The bass not is separete from the middle one, while in the first one it is harder to distinguish.
Through my headphones, I would definitely choose the second one, much more musical than the first.
