I can’t tell you what style this is exactly. I don’t really care much about defining styles, despite I agree it is interesting to know.

The fact is that I truly love those melodies in here, and this track moves me to dance, I naturally want to move listening to it.

Most are Pulsar Synths, but there are also a few VST as well.

The lead is constantly being made by the Inferno things, a truly impressive Synth. Everybody should use it more…

Then comes a disco moment, and a variation to the main melody.

Hey Coc999, you can't be serious, you must be kidding, aren't you? Are you serious about writing to John to put you out of the forum? That is quite bezare...

I must say I have never written the word "stupidity" in regard to anything related to you, this is not the way I talk about people's work, or ideas. I disliked the voices of your song.

If you pay attention to the post, you'll see I was anyway, speaking to Hubird, because I mistake the answer, cos I was answering several songs at the same time, believing this song was Hubird's one. So, there is nothing like it.

Even if anybody uses the word "stupidity", which I did not, to describe your music or whatever else, you cannot put yourself down just for it. It doesn't matter... You work hard for what you feel, and this is the point.

If somebody does not like my music it ok, allright, there are different tates and that's it. I don't take it personaly, because we are all learning and I know the points of view are more and less accurate, because everybody is subjective in its appreciation. If somebody would be absolutely objective, that would be a man having the knowledge an consciousness of the whole humanity, and this is not possible.

If you are serious, I'm really sorry for this.

Hi Nestor and Hub , i did not want to create a kind of bad vibes , i thought i make you feel nervous and i don't like that.that's why i prefer to quit pz (i thought that the message groovin and goin was for me).
Maybe i take it too much perssonnaly and it proves that the english language is just a kind of media that we don't understand well (sens can be missed)and in plus i don't have humour for myself

You gave me new appreciation of the Inferno for sure. Nice melodies, nice sounds, nice atmosphere....well you get my point

It is surprising you understood “Grooving and Going” as me putting this mane to the track to suggest you to go… like saying: I am grooving, and you are going…

I've gone through and listened to most of your recent uploads and have to say that your musicianship is fantastic. I didn't like all the styles, but the playing was just brilliant, a true virtuoso you are.

I'd like to see a live performance or be present at a jam session and just marvel for a few hours.

Nestor, your music reminds me of what I hear when I press the demo button on a Roland synthesizer... Well produced yet with no soul and lots of outdated masturbatory solos.

Then I listened to coc999. I loved the first one which was so hypnotic. Unlike Nestor I rather enjoyed the vocals.

Nestor, you need more dirt and less showing off in your music. Overproduced music sounds like Musak. Even my bank and grocery store recently stopped playing Musak and replaced it with original music.

I often wonder why silence can not be an option. Someone told me they have studies which prove people buy more with music on. If I don't like the music I rush to get out of there!

erm, first,
sorry, i have severe allergy to that particular combination of lead timbre and pitch articulation, as it was overdone to death in prog music for last couple of decades.
matter of personal preference.
second, i perceive this as 'musician's music' ie musician showing off to other musicians rather than dance music, ie music that is supposed to make people dance, and where instrumental skills are irrelevant

You need to let the music breath. Take Miles Davis as a great jazz example. He doesn't just play constantly, rather he "listens to the space between the notes". I think that is a direct quote from him or something to that effect.

Well, I actually usually love all those demos in new Kayboard

because they are quite fusion like... For me personaly, it is not could music, in fact, I vibrate much with it, I mean, I deeply feel it when I'm composing as well as when I leasten to it.

No solos here Brain, there are just melodies. If you leasten again, you'll see they are melodies and a middle variation, that's it.

I'm glad you liked what Coc999 did, I too liked the fundation, what I didn't like is the "effect" of the voices, it is far too dark for my taste.

I don't really understand what you mean by showing off, cos the parts are quite simple in fact, even harmonically. Anyway, what I dislike from Trance music and Tecno, is the absolute lack of harmony progressions and melody. I come from a jazz background, I'm a jass-fusion player and so, is my music. As I said once, I will never be able to compose something "I like" as being pure Tecno. If I were to compose something like this, this will for sure be souless and you will probably call it "music with a soul". :lo:

The concept of more "dirt" it's interesting for me, could you tell me more about it Brain?

BTW: Music for sure influences people's decisions when buying, it is a psychological fact, alredy prouven.

I guess that the point is composition here, more than anything else.

Jamming, wow, I love it... I can be more than 3 hourse playing with a good drummer and will never get tyred!

Nevertheless, I hope you liked the music, more than the performance itself, becuase this is the point to me. Cheers.

I will never leave it alone, on the contrary, it will for every be part of my bacground. This is one of the most important reason why I love synths...
They are a main part of my own feelings as a keyboard player.

I understand what you mean, but for me "old" or "new", is not a matter, what I feel is. It is similar to let say, "Slaping", some people think it is old fashion, I think it is a mean, it is not old or new, I just love slaping my bass and will always do. It is just a matter of taste for me, not of choice.

I guess you are a real fan or follower of dance music, I'm not. In fact, I don't like Trance or Tecno. There is only one composer, which is a Japonese man, I like, and just so so... This is, if you like, my way of looking at dance music. This is what I want to dance.

For me, musical skills, insctinct and the so, are much more important than anything else. I base all my music in real performance and compsition, and this is what I like most when doing music.

I see them as the most terrible non-musical rubbish as one ever can imagine, even if you may like fusion type of music...I guess...
My ears feel hurt after listening to those programmers and technicians demo's...

Well, not them all Hubird, not them all... but some I do. For instance, the little demo there is in my own Korg X5 Keyboard, is great... I have leastened to it for ages so far, I have own this Keyboard for a long time, about 7 or 8 years, and I still eventually leasten to it, and enjoy...

heh, only slapping players i really enjoy are Les Claypool and Michael Manring at least on his 'Thonk' album, produced with Primus guys

for example i don't care much for Victor Wooten fireworks, except for album with Victor Bailey, where they are nicely balanced by Bailey's style of playing fretless

i mean slap is impressive, but you would not want to use it in let's say raggae song, unless you want to loose raggae character of it...
