hi i want to purchase a powerpulsar system and am confused as to which of the i/o options to choose...in your opinion, which has the most flexibility for now and the future esp re having 24/96 capability. choices are classic/ 24 adat/ plus and zlink plus creamware only converter box ( is that something to be concerned about ie that the zlink onlyworks with a creamware converter? ..thanks

It depend on what hardware you already have or plan to have.

If you have studio monitors, the plus version is good. Most studio monitors have xlr inputs.

If you have a digital mixer, they usually have adats, the 24adat is good. If you plan on adding more inputs later, the zlink is good because of A16U which is extremely good.
If you have a 'home hi-fi' system to monitor, the classic version is good for it's rca jacks and sdpif.

The 24 adat adds 1 zlink plug, so you can add a 2496 iobox from creamware and also add a digital mixer or digital hardware like synths or digital output preamps.

Really it all depend on you.

the a16 is one of the best options.there are many ad/da converters w/ adat connectors, though.the fostex 8 ch. converters have been on ebay for 175 ea brand new.that's one of the cheapest options...
