Man I love FM. Almost every sound in the tune is made with mod. (other than the recorded clangs and the choir)

I quite like it, nevertheless, I find the bass a little rough when it takes the “bass melody” by itself for the second time. I would like for it to be there only once, but not the second time. When it comes for the second time, it kills the magic atmosphere there was before, which was very pleasant. If you like, it is a bit like getting close to something you want, and suddenly you go back to the door to start entering again. Something like that.
I would see the “bass melody” appropriate if this bass would come much latter, and with a rather different timber.
By all means, I would develop the middle part, which is pretty nice, and would go through working the harmony there, prolonging the magic.
My two cents.
