ADAT Help please!

Hi

I have a Alesis Quadrareverb 2 effect processor and want to use it in the pulsar environment. When i use the analog in and out it is all working fine. But the ad/da converter in the QV2 is bad and noisy. Do i tried to use the adat interface. I go out from the aux channels to the adat dest and then in through the adat source in the returns in Big Mixer. But it don't work in the digital way. I cannot hear any effect. I think this is because of the master/slave configuration but i am not sure . Can somebody help me in this? Is it possible and what did I wrong?
