Not sure this tune deserves bad comments
I was hooked with the minimalist tech hook in the begining. Really like the way you introduce each new phase with that comb filter and other sweeping filter effects. Loved the energy in this track.
Cant say I was into the build up and finalé .... but the instrumentation was perfect for the style.
What I really liked about it was that it had a feel as if it was actually being performed and that's a hard thing to do. So well done.
There now... not bad at all

I REALLY like lots of this. On first hearing I thought that the lead lines were too far back in the mix, but the more I listen to it the more I appreciate it.
A really good first upload and worthy of lots of responses from folks.
I can learn a lot from this for my second attempt at trance. Love the drum track, energy, arpeggios etc.

I´m not a trance fan but sometimes it is nice when music takes you to a high point and nothing more.
Your song is very useable for this genre but I think you´ve to work on the overall mix.
Please don´t be offended I just write what I think.
Have you ever tried to sort out the elements of your songs?
When I start to compose a new song I think about what elements I have in this track.
There are drums, melody, sfx, bass, appergios, pads...
The first step I do is to build mixer groups like bass drums, melody, sfx pads etc.
So I sort out the elements of a song and when I play a melody or pad I just route the tracks to their groups with all their effects, compressors etc.

Why I write this?
Once if you setup your reverbs, delays effects.. you only need to route those tracks to their groups.
That is a very easy way to work and this will give you a great possibilty to pronaunce each element with comps or whatever. You´ll have maybe four or six groups instead of 32 tracks.
That´s what´s in my mind in the moment nothing more.. the music is great but it need to be balanced.

thought this was okay for the first few minutes but when the melodics come in halfway trough it really starts to push my buttons
Nice filtering! Good trance, with enough originality, what more can you ask?

I am intrigued by your post, as it's not quite clear to me what you mean but I can see some sort of logic behind it
Could you please explain/illustrate this for me? Do you mean you use one group with for instance a delay and reverb effect for all your pads and another group with different effects (or different settings) for you leads....etc?

Okay, I try to explain it further.
At the moment I work on a space track.
Before I start to record anything I plan the structure and sort out what elements I have got.
In that space track I have got following elements/groups:
the space, the spacehip, the drive of the ship, Vega-the star we´ll visit, sequences, and FX.

So yesterday I start to work on the space and the ship. When I´ve record something for the space I route the track to the space group and so on.

Now I can setup effects for each group, a reverb(sorry huub)for the space sounds, a delay for the ship sounds and so on.
Of course I can still use other effects on the single tracks but the main effects are always in my groups.

ok, so do you use EQ and compression per group as well, to "tie together" the different elements in a group, or do you process per track?
It seems like a good way to approach these heavily layered spaceship tracks of yours, although I'm not sure it would work for each sort of music.

Well compression is done in the groups, that´s a good way to balance each group with the others and it saves CPU resources. The EQ´s work on each single track and in my last tracks I used a EQ with the final mastering in a wave editor, to give the whole track the last sharpening.
But we should leave the topic to Eon again.

very well...thanks for coments...I like when something is going wrong with my track...cause its showing that track is not so good as we all said...
Ok Chris,I will try to do my mix better and will try to group everything but if I understand what you mean seems like you dont have much ways to change things when you group everything...am I wrong???
King thanks for your coment either...I will cut that melody part cause it looks like long for me too...
Sorry for bad English again...
