Hiya folks.

Today my STS 3000 decided to freak out in a major way.
I first tried to sample a kick sound from the KickMe device in an attempt to free up some dsp. But lo and behold, the sampled kick doesnt sound at all like the kick sound Im trying to sample (!) Its like a totally different kick sound. (and a crappy one at that)

So I try to sample a basic saw sound from the Blue synth just to try to pinpoint the problem. The sampled sound from the Blue synth sounds exactly like it should, but. . . the STS refuses to transpose the sound over the keygroup. The sound is played back at the same pitch all over the keyes. What the hell? This is so illogical that Spock would have a nervous breakdown if he witnessed it.

Anyone have a clue as to what might be happening? Will I need to hire an exorcist to banish the ghosts inhabiting my software?

Any help would be appreciated.

In the "Special" section of your keygroup, you should have two options: "Const" and "Track", or something like that. Make sure they're set to the right settings!
