Hello again,

First my apologies for going on about this subject.

Bassdude, thank you very much for your lengthy reply in my previous post.
GaryB, thanks for the fact that you are willing to help by phone. I will email you shortly (if I am still stuck). I live in Holland by the way. I don't mind phoning you. It won't be that expensive. I call Australia on a regular basis anyway. So you might hear from me soon.
But Bassdude:
I have tried your second suggestion. As You predicted, I have no signal going in the logic mixer when I use in/out other than the first pair. You say it is because I don't have Logic configured to accept more than one pair of inputs. But, I don't have this problem with my Big Mixer project originally created in Pulsar 2. See:
http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... forum=14&1

I just can't figure it out. Why is it that I can get more than one pair of signals in Logic with this set-up but not with the STM 2448 mixer set-up? I am baffled!!!

Thanks in advance.

I think we are getting somewhere now.
Can you post a picture of the opened BM surface showing the first 8 channels? Particularly showing the Fader/Pan area which has the bus assignments. Thanks.

Another question:- are you using the exact same project in logic for both the BM and stm projects in pulsar?

G'day Bassdude,

I have posted an image of the Big Mixer as you asked. Here is the link:

http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... forum=14&0

I am using exactly the same set-up in Logic in both the Big Mixer and STM project.

Thanks in advance

I've had a look at the picture you have posted and refering back to the BM project, you have Inputs 3&4 of the BM going to bus 3&4 (R3,R4) which in turn goes to inputs 3&4 (2L,2R) on the asio dest which would correspond to inputs 3&4 in Logic. So you have the output ch 1&2 of logic (1L,1R Asio 16 bit source to In3&4 of BM) being sent to inputs 3&4 of Logic which does not make sense! Or do you disconnect the In3&4 of the BM from the ASIO 16 Bit source (1L,1R) and connect it up the the output of the Vectron Player (OutL, OutR) and see a signal on inputs 3&4 of Logic?

And just to clarify, the Logic project you use for the BM project is the one you are also using for the STM project ie, you are not loading up another Logic project for the STM pulsar project that is in theory setup the same as the Logic BM project?

It really seems to me that it's not a pulsar project problem but a Logic input configuration problem.

What we need now is somebody who uses Logic to come on board and double check your Logic configuration as I don't use Logic.

Hi Boyz,

I´m using logic and I´m not having any Problems.

I have Connected Asio16 source 32Channels to the the inputs of whatever Mixer I use and the asio source to Bus 1+2 of the mixer.

Logic detect the driver Automatically when it starts. If this does not work. Check AudioDriver2 TAB in Logic. Only ASIO should be enabled. In the field below you should be able to select Syn to CW DSP hardware.

Hello, the problems we are having are related to the VIA chipsets on our motherboards. Do you run a board (older) with a VIA chipset?

i really don't think that the chipset is the issue.i have used logic w/via and intel.both work, intel just works better.
