PPS. i really must get out more.
don't say that to me

I like the "warp" stuff and "Wobble". Please continue suggestions.

Here is another mp3 (867k) that shows some of the pitch modulation.
http://www.spacef.com/mp3/sf-delay-05.mp3
Eventhough it's digital and can be metallic, you can get convincing/interesting detune effects (in the mp3, it's just an setting that makes it easy to hear, so it's a bit too much+ the dev is not exactly finished+there are hundreds of possibilities).
What you hear on the mp3 is Dry, then with delay, then delay+ tape modulation (or warp wobbler  )

PS. Would be nice if the 'Touch' control could be assigned to a Mod wheel or something for variable finger action.

Yes there will be a manual control that you will be able to assign to modwheel (or any other midi controller).

I see, that warp fits nicely to the image of the melted record. Also, I see you tend to like "W"-words ...
If it should fit a tape maybe Wrap would be an alternative

In Denmark we call it "Tape Salad", when a tape goes bananas in a tape machine.

Thanks a lot everybody. The tape modulation is now called "Wobbler" , which definition fits perfectly :
http://www.factmonster.com/ipd/A0740453.html
The delay also has, "Feedback Sweep", "Feedback shaper", "Delay Disruptor" and "Hum & Buzz"
see you

it would be great to have this "wooow and fluttering" thing as a separate device ! I've got a mellotron ( a real one M400 ) and I would like to "mellotronize" any source I want without send tapes to martin smith of streetly electronic ( they do tape for mellotrons ..) . on NIN fragile I know they use a broken space echo without delay to "mellotronize" some violins part ( at first I though it was a mellotron but not !)

the Wobbler (héhé) will come as a seperate insert effect too, in a form called "Scratcher". The Wobbler includes options not possible in an insert. In the meantime, it's just an additional effect amongst other. The delay is not really about analog tape simulation (that may come later as an insert), but more about dub techniques. I don't want to say too much except that the main device of the delay package is made to be used as a mixer channel or a special Multi-insert for add ons. There should be a scratcher, Invert Phase (invert phase+pan+volume) etc....
(edited to remove the picture ; )

great spacef !!!
M-tron is just a very simplistic sampler with mellotron samples bank .
I don't like it too much because there is not at all the feel of a real mellotron . the mellotron is pressure sensitive . as there is a pad that push the tape on the magnetic head . For example if you press too much the tape slow down . you can make fade in by increasing the pressure etc ... so if you press twice a key there is no twice the same sound . so this thing is alive ! M-tron is cold as ice imho

I take the oppotunity of being at the top of this page to annouce a little delay (that's the case  in the development. I don't want to bring something good, I want to bring something better than that. at least, I try, so it might well take another 2/3 weeks to complete all testing and optimizations. Sorry about that if you were waiting for this. Thanks for your understanding.

I've been hungry enough for a good DSP delay that if it took a month to get it RIGHT I'll wait and be happy that someone is doing good work.

Having said that, get it done already!!
