Here is a demo of a piece I am working on. This one is rough..not even close to being finished....and it drags on a bit....but...

But would appreciate any feedback that you good folks provide.

Am thinking of adding some nice Vectron ambient pads to the arrangement....

But right now, the piece is just the ES2, ES1, and EXS24 in Logic 6.2

Also uses a lovely free AU - 303 type synth.

Drums programmed in Reason.

Thanks for the listen!

listening right now. great intro! Great drums! The pads sound kinda cheezy. The voice "ahh"s seem to have too quick of a release.

Great come back after the break! Big and wide. Some sort of crash, gong, or some metalic sound at the first beat might underline it more. I'd guess you already have one planned tho.

I'm wondering... no ethnic drum samples? That could really bring out some sense of speed. Or anything else that would emphasize the 16ths. Dunno if you want the speed, or the semi-relaxed "big" sound you have right now.

Great overall clarity of the mix, awesome kick drums, and great contrast of space. You have something cooking here!
