When I play tracks from Orion and record to Acid, I'm getting stuttering on playback. The Orion tracks play fine, and I've recorded audio directly to Sound Forge which plays fine. I've checked previous posts and there seems to be a variety of reasons for stuttering, mostly fixed by reinstall.
All my programs are set to 24bit/44.1k, and I've managed to get rid of crackles and pops. Can anyone point me in the likely direction?
My XP installation is on the same partition as my recording programs. Is this a likely culprit? Does latency need to be set exactly the same in Acid and SFP? ............confused....
