The base level for simple pattern sequencers (now established for a couple of years!) is a mouse-drawable 32-step (minimum) pattern. This business of fiddling with a tiny slider and watching the note number in 16-steps is history - or should be.
Add a PatternSEQ module and you have a 512 step sequencer with named patterns. Thats not so bad.
In case of a pitchSEQ it's easier for me to direct set the values than using any slider or mouse drawing.
In case of a controlerSEQ you're certainly right. That could benefit from a "drawing" feature.

I agree they need improvement but I was thinking maybe there is a groove to them you can't get any other way. They also are soft wired. This means in theory you can do things with them that you could do with no other software sequencer. I agree they are tedious to use as is the STS GUI. The SFP in general takes a lot of time and dexterity.
