fantastic device!!! have been spacing time away all night long, and it improved my mousing technique a lot!
i was dreaming away and saw myself sitting there with four joysticks... ah well.
real nice little tool. it has served its purpose alright.

i'm a little saturated on the synth side, but am looking more for devices like this. if you could make a little pack with this kind of devices, midi featured, i'd pay up.
something the other way round would be top. i mean, one input and four (preferably eight) outputs. i'm going to collaborate with one of my former high school teachers who is into 'electroacoustic' music. he has a an eight way speaker system, and i see lots of possibilities here to do some awesome 'surround' things.
i might send you an email this weekend...

thanks stephen. had LOTS of fun with this one already!

you would need multiple linear MIDI-faders to emulate this motion, which would be fairly clumsy to operate (or a dedicated joystick like on a Wavestation, of course).

Or the touchscreen of the Remote25. Can't wait to try the combo out. My magma is being replaced, so I won't be able to play for a week.

Not sure yet. Just FedEx'd it today. Hopefully, the problem is the problem I've been having all along. I took my rig over to the Apple Store and checked out a couple of powerbooks thinking, christ a MAC HAS to work. But no luck. So since I've seen the same patterns across a couple of laptops. I can only conclude that it's the Magma that's screwing up and the laptops are fine (1 or 2 of them anyway). I'll have more to say on the matter next week and I'll probably repeat myself in the thread where this belongs.

did anyone already tried to take modular, put two LFO maybe modulated by other LFO), assigning CC to MIDI VALUE+ then connect it to midi in of V_mix?

Maybe I'm missing something but should'nt the device also have a midi out so you can control for instance the Res and the cut off of the filter in for example The Blue Synth?

That way you can assign both to the same cc#
and use the device to control the parameters.

Please ignore the above!!

It's an AUDIO MIXER DUH!!!

Hi,

I've just found a great app/utility for Mac which can work alongside the device! It's called Midi2Joy and lets you use your USB joystick (let's face it, any USB device) as a midi controller!!! So your plain joystick can be now something useful not only for shooting enemies! http://www.steim.nl/Software/midijoy.sit And it's free!!!

There is also a commercial app for the same purposes but in OSX: http://www.steim.org/steim/junxion.html
