Hi all

In the Options dialog for Battery, the "Akai Device" combo box is empty

The manual indicates that this is "the CD drive you usually use to load Akai programs" or somesuch, but doesn't divulge what you might like to do should nothing be displayed there.

Any ideas gratefully appreciated!

Regards,

To load Akai samples, NI Battery expects an Akai formatted cd in the drive. For example Creamware's sample cd (pre-SFP, or as delivered w Pulsar OS 2.03) was an Akai format cd.
I suppose it also requires ASPI to be installed.

Hi at0mic

I think that my problem's a 'level up', as Battery would need to first know about a device to look for the CD on.

I should really just get off my arse and bring my registration details into work!! :-*

Then I can ask NI directly...hah!

Wishful thinking obviously :-/

Guess which is the only part of NI's website that isn't working? The product registration link (sigh).
