I just recently purchased the sts 3000 from the creamware website.
What's the difference between the new sampler you are giving away and the sts3000? They look identical.
I know that one runs off the cpu and the other runs off the dsp.Is this the only difference? Should I have waited for the free sampler? Should I be upset?

Subject: Don't be upset

As soon as the Pulsar XTC is released you'll be able to use the STS 3000 as a VSTi inside your VST host, but with the advantage that the DSPs will take care of all the processing instead of your CPU. So then you'll be able to use more VST plugins. I feel that's worth a couple of dollars/pounds/euros. Nevertheless I want that Volkszämpler too. :)

You mean the Volkszämpler? Go to the CreamWare Forum (on the CW site) and read my thread "Volkszämpler should be free downloadable for all registered customers". Please post an answer too, hopefully it will help.
