Via KT400 Msi board, does it work?

I am new to this forum, i know very little about computers, i bought a pulsar II, i have a Via KT400 Msi motherboard, athlon 2200xp, and windows 2000, i dont' want to lose my mental health over compatibility issues- i'd rather change the computer. Can someone help? Thanks :smile:

it should work although in the past via chipsets have shown significant performance handicaps compared to the nforce and intel chipsets.
