Hi,
I recently bought a Keys issue (German magazine) featuring a free NI synth called Session One. It sounds great however I have some complains about it. Why the hell you ask questions here, you may say - because I can't get any answer at the source (Keys magazine). In the installer there is a text about VST/AU installation but none installs in my VST folders  Why is it so? Second - the standalone version is unuseful for me because I can't use my SFP asio in 2 apps (I mean Logic and the NI synth simultanously) and I'm forced to use my Mac's standard driver/audio out to play the synth. It would be OK if it worked properly. But while the sequencer goes through ASIO and the synth through soundmanager - Logic looses audio sync (says the samplerate is 36456kHz (!) or so). Third: the presets included in the synth are great but every time I play C3 note the wet/dry (for delay) knob goes to 0 and then the synth plays without any effect - when I move the knob up all works great unless I hit C3... The only way to get rid of the problem is to change the knob's CC# (similar to Pulsar way - learn'n play).

Does anybody of you have similar problems? What are your suggestions? Does anybody have plugin version of the synth (Mac platform)?

Hi,
here's the info I found on the NI site. It seems that you only have the standalone version
I can't find the VST plug-in in my sequencer.

1. During installation the installer will ask you to select the VST folder for your sequencer. If the installer does not ask you to choose a VST folder, then you are using the standalone only version, which was released in advance. Please check the latest CD-ROM on your music magazine's latest issue for the actual standalone AND plug-in version.
