I am experiencing problems with my Luna card. I cannot record anything. I am convinced it is now defective. The Sample rate would not remain steady. It keeps changing from the selected 44.1 to ---.
I am really frustrated and fed up. I am now awaiting word from CREAMWARE to know what direction I would be heading. Any suggestion?

Just keep insisting till they get you. I'm sure they will, just be patient and make sure your mails DO really get them.

Sorry to hear that anyway... But It's very difficult for the cart to be broken, you hve ben using it for a while now, so I don't think there is a problem there... The problem most likly will come from software of bad connexions...

Anyway, make sure your MOBO it's ok. Have you give to it a bad knock? That could be a real bad thing as well.

My best suggestion is to get the card to somebodyelses computer, install SFP and try to see what is going on, if the problem is still in other machine, well, there there is a real chance that the card has something...

I tried everything possible. That is why I am sure the card is now defective. I tried it in two other computers and the same thing happened. The card did not get knocked or fell. I have another Luna card that is working very well in the same computer. The card shows the correct amount of DSPs but shows zero for the usage most of the time. I have seen other people on the FORUM with something similiar (Pulsar Cards)to what is happening to my card. Most of the time it turns out to be connection problem especially with Pulsar cards.

You have not set your card as slave? If it is slave, it may not be able to detect the incomming clock frequency. Reasons can be a bad card, bad cable or bad provider (i.e. an A/D converter).

The card is set to MASTER. Strange, when it is in SLAVE mode it stops being busy. As I set it back to MASTER problem starts. I am also not getting a constant sync and DSP reading. There is nothing else anyone or myself can do. (Except Creamware repairs it). Thanks for the replies.
