I'm having a couple of problems with Cubase in XTC mode.
First, I can't record Sysex dumps from my WaveStation which is connected to the Creamware Midi. I turned off Sysex filtering in Cubase, but still nothing. Note On/Off messages come through fine. Does the Creamware card do Sysex filtering somewhere ? Didn't find anything in the manuals...
Second, when I try to automate the Creamware 4-Pole S filter (I haven't tried the other ones yet) as an insert, playing back the automation doesn't work. I drew a simple slope, and sometimes it will do the first part of the slope, but stop halfway. Most of the time, the value just stays fixed. Is this a known issue, or is there a configuration problem I should look into ?
My setup : Win2k, Pulsar II with latest SFP, Cubase SX 1.06, and a bunch of external synths.
