A16 INPUTS

When I attatch A16 Z-Link to Pulsar mixer,I get about -70dB noise level for each channel which adds up to a lot of noise.Is this due to equipment added to it or is it self noise?

Take the gates, for each channel one. My synths make a noise around -78 dB and I gated them. So no noise will accumulate.
Gate only uses low DSP.

The only problem with gate's, is that if not properly set up, you can risk cutting the beginnings and/or ends of sounds with a long attack/release time...

Just trying -10dB switch on A16 to give better S/N ratio.
