HI guys!
The issue i have is:how can i use my Midi controller.
I have a Doepfer Pocket Dial and the only thing i can really use with is FM 7(with the learn function);but this is in Cubase, when im in Sfpproject i can use just one controler.THis one is the 6th(not on my
Döpfer)from the synth i choose?!The learnfunction (AND EVERY BUTTON HAVE IN Pulsar have a learnfunction)dont move .
Maybe you can help me becouse this is new land for me!
Thank you and regards

Hmm, I have no experience with such external midi controller, yet. I use the six knobs and ModWheel of my CS1x. Maybe this is a midi connection problem, that´s my guess only. When you work in SFP only, you must use the Midi source and not the Seq midi source,or? Neil works with a midi controller, too. I´ll ask him tomorrow morning. This prob can be solved.

Cheers

Make sure your Pocket Dial is set to send standard midi controllers, and not other types of control messages. If it is and all connections are good, I'm not sure what the problem would be.

You can download an editor for the Pocket Dial to assign controlers here: http://www.doepfer.de/controller/Pocket ... editor.htm

Also, I believe the relative inc/dec setting does not work with SFP (like it does in FM7). Use the feedback method to get no jumps instead.

MIDI Out of Pocket Dial -> MIDI In of the device controlled by Pocket Dial

MIDIOut of the device controlled by Pocket Dial -> MIDI In of Pocket Dial

The "relative method" works also in Sfp! I connected my pocket dial directly with Pulsar in/out - and it works. Be sure that you have chosen the same channel in Cubase.
If you want, I'll post a screenshot at "presets and projects".
I'm totally stressed because of preparing to move to another town, but I would try to do it.

Thank you guys for your time!Well i dont have any idea what "inc/dec " is im really a beginner in midi controler ;i just know that
the Pocket Dial seem to be very good.
I have the editor for it but i just can lokk at it.
I connected it with my EWS 64 XL (FM 7 rocks)
and the synths in SFP recive midi signals from it but i can use just one "wheel" from
PD.
To Herr Voigt:
mein Lieber ,thank you for your interrest to
help me out.Im obviously agree with you idea.
I think a screenshot will help me to understand a little bit what the trick is.
Also i whant to mix in Sfp ,how can i do this?
Must i reconnect the PD direct with Pulsar(now is my Midikeyboard connected with).
Thank you again and i hope you dont forget me.
