crystal synth or whatever! I really like the sounds you got from the synth. Nice rough sounds and a very clear groove. sounds tight.

My favourite tempo, on that tempo I have the feeling that the track get faster and faster, but it doesn´t of course.
Have you tried the sf2 import of Crystal?

I like the agressive touch of this track and I like the small sounds(trumpet like)in the background.
Another great work from you.
You find your style more and more, don´t you?
Yeah it´s tight.
The break to the end is great. -Crystal time.

Thanks for your comments. I enjoyed making this. Was tempted to throw a gate over the top of the mix because I thought it wasn't tight enough - but I guess that was just from hearing it too much

Chris: yeah, I use SF2 import in Crystal Synth and also really like the "Breeder" function to create really interesting patches. (I set up my banks and sound fonts so that Crystal finds them for me each time I load it).
I have been working hard to get another demo out and I think having that goal has helped me to get a "sound" that I'm happy with. I'm trying to keep things relatively clean, simple and with a strong groove. It's not as easy as I thought it would be, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. There are lots of things I wish I could do, sounds that I wish I could make - but I'm not there yet. I'll just keep plugging away.
Thank you again for your comments.

Must be a bad winter in the southern hemisphere because there seems to be a lot of music coming out of Australia at the moment - and it's all excellent.
Superb track. Love the vocal lines.

Thanks hubird, I'm using pretty much presets and mixtures of presets (breeder) which I record to audio and then cut 'em up. I'm not really good at synth programing - so I have been experimenting and altering it afterwards to make sure the timing is right. I do the same thing with a lot of SFP-based sounds as well... it's a bit of a cheat I guess..but it sometimes pays off. I'm glad you liked the tune. I need to get another 2 tracks done and then I'm right to send off the demo ( yearly event  )
Cheers

fantastic... for me your best upload from the series you put up lately...
sure enough, the groove is there, and added to this a dirty decadent housy feel (which i liked so much in green velvet or dj rush), thight sounds... whatever... it makes me move the legs.
