OBS! Uploaded a new version, course the first upload seemed a bit too much in the 0 db area... Actually I discovered that the song has an insane amount of very low frequencies, that has too be removed. I'm working on that one. Posting new song soon...

This is a sketch for a nice summer house song. I'm gonna be working with another guy (Danish House producer) on this one, and I'm looking forward to his contributions, cause this is not excatly my style of music.

So far I really like the sound of it, tons of Interpoles there. If you have not, buy it... It's THE filter, making anybody I presented it to, jealous on the Scope system.

Hope you like it, and if any house heads have comments, bring 'em on course i'm a stranger in NY...

PULSAR DEVICES USED : STM1632, Qdrive, Vinco, Interpole, Minimax, Tree-o-tree, Ligthwave, da chopper, Celmo vintage Delay, Timeworks EQ's, 4080L, compressor-X and Mastercompressor HARD on the Masterbus. SPL Transient Designer on the drum bus.

Also uses v-station VSTi from novation (appegio in start), awesome... try it.

Most vocal stuff is EQ'ed and compressed by UAD-1 stuff...

Hop there, been in Amsterdam for the whole week. Happy that you like the skecth, but still I would like some people in the genre to comment this (beats, sound, composition, etc).

whew, did a new mix for this song...I try to get it a little more electrostyle.

For my own opinion, maybe things happens a little too fast, but I like the grooves in there.

i do not mean to be rude but you are very lucky to get hold of these vocalists that you get hold of/work with.

they make the tracks,, most of your production sounds the same, it sound good but it is the same.all the time. full stop..

any way good work.........

ps. whats with the snare on the left..also interpole,,,, yeah,, it is damn good.

I'm sorry but I don't get you here. Yeah, I'm lucky too have nice artists to work with. I'm really grateful, no doubt. They don't make all the tracks! This particular project (which is considered as Thalamus REMIX, cause we normally do trip-hop), the singer makes most of the composition work, but not all. For some of my other projects I do all the compositions etc.

I can't beleave you think my productions sounds the same... Ether you havn't gone though what I posted on this site, or maybe you just have a bad day. Have you heard my hip-hop, my spaceproject, my rockproject, my filmusic, my other triphop projects?

I'm sorry but I can't really find the link to this song and fx one of the rocksongs. Too I think if you go through fx Thalamus song cataloque, you will find that the productionstyle and the sounds are very defferend.

But hey, maybe I got deaf of all this high volumes...

um.. i was rather drunk/pissed when i wrote the obove.

what i mean't was that the vocalists make the tracks what they are..but actually it is the whole thing, arrangement, sounds your musicianship, blah blah. think i'm just jealouse that i don't know amazing singers like you do

also when i said "sound the same" i meant that on hearing your tracks a person could probably tell it was a thalamus production.you have a flava a damn good one

Hey there Noah,

Hrmm where to start

Sound quality wise this sounds flawless on my non studio boot listening thru the PC speakers, quite a relaxed vibe, that bass has me drooling, and the stutters on it adds a cool effect. As this being a Thalamus Remix, it makes perfect sense for its sound and style, the bass line, little articulations and the distorted loop are what brings the Thalamus element into the mix for me with the addition of the 4x4 and such.

I am trying to find something to give you to help create a more house style here but, this song has most of what you need to get you started, I suppose if there was one thing I would personally change, and this is a house style thing as there are many styles of house, but a very common style in the club these days is to have a very hard kick to match the hard snare, it creates a bounce to it, I might even raise the BPM just a tad to make it more clubbish.

Aside from that, another top notch production, actually now that I think about it, im thinking yea, maybe a few more BPM to make soup hotter

I can definitely see this on the european clubcharts. Nice Vocal Theme! The hint with the little higher tempo and the edge to the kick is good but maybe it´s this lazy smoothness that get´s it on top.
Besides: the level in the beginning is somewhat low. Maybe you´d want to automate the master gain so that there won´t be such a big difference in the level when it comes to the main part.

Very nice eq of the voice, nice production as well, but this one screams for a more commercial arrangement... no disrespect, but a more clinic club arrangement (a more simple 4/4 where you stay true to the euro-dance/trance genre) would do wonders to this one... this track has potential

as i said, production here is good, but it doesnt fit the tune if u fully wanna exploit the catchy bit
