I just created new partitions to install XP (my 1st partition has 98se with pulsarII, gigastudio and nuendo - that works perfectly). I just got nuendo 2.0 and need to use XP, but I can't install PII without it saying that I have a missing or corrupted driver. I already downloaded the latest Adaptec update.
I've tried installing older versions that I have (2.01, 2.04, 3.0) and SFP 3.1 but nothing seems to help. I get the same message about it not being "logo approved".
I configured the XP install as standard pc.
Let me try to install it again, and I will tell you exactly what it says.
I have a performance soon and I'm getting desperate!
Please help me - missing or corrupted driver for XP

OK, here it is:
"New Hardware Found"
(launches the Hardware Wizard)
I insert my 3.0 cd-rom and it automatically continues with the install.
After the warning about Windows Logo Testing, I click "continue anyway"
Maybe10 seconds later I get:
"Cannot Start This Hardware.
There was a problem installing this hardware. Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing."
I think I may have had this problem a few years ago, while reinstalling the software. Someone with creamware emailed the device driver to me if I remember right.
What do I need, and how should I proceed
Thanks for any and all help.
