I got my hands on a Pulsar2 early last week, and was instantly hooked on Mod2.
The 1st couple of days I noticed somethings that seemed like a bug, but it wasn't so bad, it was just that some times I would have to open a module 2 or more times before it actually opened..

I upgraded to Mod3, and hoped it would be a bug that was fixed (upgraded because I think the Modular is brilliant too ofcourse hehe).
It didn't help.
And it got worse.
When I open a new empty modular, I cannot open any devices at all, I don't get any error-messages or anything, they just don't load.
Some times, it is as if there has never been a problem, modules just open fine.
But when there is a problem, and I try to open a module several times, I can see the scroll bar changing, as if there was too many modules to fit on screen, but ofcourse, there are none..

I've tried reinstalling SFP many times without luck, I've mooved my cards around in the PCI slots without luck, I've changed IRQ's without luck...
My Pulsar2 and Powersampler are only sharing IRQ's with each other, my Pulsar1 isn't sharing at all..

My system:
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
AMD Athlon XP 1700+ oc @ 1.83Ghz
2x512mb Kingston DDR
2x 40Gb Seagate IDE's
Sapphire Radeon 9500 graphics adapter
Win XP pro service Pack 1

Any ideas what it could be?

Another strange thing, I can se the devices that I try to load, do load into memory, since the SFP.exe in Task Manager grows a bit every time I load a module...

i'm sorry if i offend you by asking this, but, when you see the scroll bars appear, have you used them as well...?
of course this is strange behaviour. it happened to d-tune's fun-sync synth too on macs (if i remember well). the synth was in the project, but the interface was off screen.

Yeah, I've scrolled down, nothing there..

Is it a bug, or is it a hardware issue?

I can open a patch, and all the modules load fine, and I can click a module in a patch and press ctrl-d, and click in the empty patch, and voila, the module appears..

But I just can't seem to load them properly..

how do you drag the modules to the modular? do you select them in modular (top of patch) or do you use the file browser? might be worth checking the alternative way of selecting...

another stupid remark: you do know that there is a seperate download/install/serial number for modular2 since SFP, so have you tried downloading and installing modular again?

Stranger still, I can open modules using the file-browser without problems at all..
Just drag them over from the browser to the window, and it opens..

I have all the keys in the registry, no problems there.. The problem also appears in Mod2 modules..

And I have tried reinstalling several times..

Yeah, you probably just clicked on them instead of dragging the modules...

Made the same error first...

I know those moments very well, you are near a heart attack, reinstall, search for the origin of the problem.
For example, SFP is loaded, then Cubase, all instruments are choosen and I´m ready to express my ideas to music.
I hit my Keyboard and nothing happens, I reload SFP etc. nothing.
Then after few minutes and my nice composer mood is gone, I notice that I have forgot to switch on the Keyboard.
