Anyhow, my friend was totally inspired by the theme tune from American Beauty. We started of there, and ended up with this tune.

ya.. the guy is a hiphop dancer so... it kind of HAD to be hard. You take a balance between "hard" and "light and thin"... and you get "plastic" LOL
About the pianos "mirroring" each other. I kind of picked the idea up from Debussy. The idea is to have the same phrase answer each other in different keys, most of the time 4 or 5 degrees above the original phrase.

Very moody, it´s great how you opened the sounds and before they reach their highest point you close them again, something I´ll keep in mind. The drums doesn´t fit, they need some more low frequences to fit with the bass. Some more notes on the piano would do the rest. Excellent idea and track. I´m curious about your next one.
