Why not make it yourself in Fruity loop? If you`ve got the FL3 it works as a VSTi in cubase etc. easy!

Take full control with your own shit - I say. Sampling is for cowards - I say.
Enought said I say.

i´ve tried it by myself (the result wasn´t astonishing) but i want it more realistic. that can only do a loop in my opinion.
if anyone knows a good resource for realistic hihat grooves please let me know.

if someone has good hihat loops for me he can have some other sample stuff from me.

i have lots of freesamples and also 30mb webspace.

thanks

Yepp a lovely remark that was.- It's so easy to trigger some people......like fruity loops:-)

And to the topic: Yes, sounds a bit fake but try working with level control in fruity, various samples of cymbals and snares (rim shot, hard/soft hit), export each cymbal/snare/kick and place them on seperate tracks in cubase. Then start to work with the dynamics (compressor, gate, etc). Works wonders - and totally original.

ohhh I forgot..... if you at least increase the BPM in Fruity by x 2 times the time code U originaly used (130=260) and make the sequense a bit longer U can ofcourse make it a bit more off-beat by triggering the various samples a bit before or after.
Or try randomising it with the fader you find in right hand corner of your project window (cant remember the name as I'm on another computer than my audio pc - never mix surfing and audio they say).

And ofcourse all of the above is ment for drums in general , not only for cymbals. So in your situation - skip cymbal gating:-)
