If I record in cubase in 24 bit 96 khz quality and want to mix and add effects in the pulsar environment with a pulsar mixer it sounds great but how so I mix this down to a 16 bit 44.1khz file.Cubase won't let me rout this to another track on it via the ASIO destination tab. Also other programs such as sound forge or acid won't accept 96 khz signals to record with.Am I missing something? Are others managing to mix down 96khz files via pulsar? (I wish pulsar had a tab/module that was for creating a mixdown wav file that had dithering and different bit and frequency choices for mixdowns that we could rout the signal to.)please help. Thanks Rod

you could use the wav drivers to mix to wavelab or another app.you could go out sp/dif to a dat as well.you might want to use the dither module.........you also might want to use 44.1k and 24 bit for recording.the process of mixing to 44.1k 16bit will be less violent than from 96k and you'll still get the benifit of mixing at a higher bit depth.96k uses a lot of resources considering that you'll loose a most of the advantage by the time you get to cd.
