Right now! At this very moment of writing, there is a Moon Eclipse Total here in Chile! It’s amazing! It took about 40 minutes to go through the entire moon… I’ve seen quite a few different celestial phenomenons like this one, but they never stop amazing me much! Absolutely beautiful!

Sakes! Too bad it's cloudy here right now - bummer!
Anyone can catch it with a digital camera?

I see it from my window too! And I've seen the most astounding moonrise of my life earlier! This is a cosmic moment! Be at peace.

But we had one a few months back, which was like being in the light from a different sun.

Nestor, eliam, at0m - did the birds freak out and stop singing?

Wayne, a moon eclipse is much less spectaculuar than an eclipse of the sun, which you probly have seen
But it's nevertheless impressive and has beautiful shades of light when the earth is faintly lighting the moon then.
For a short moment cosmic movement gets visual.
And the birds: no, they weren't impressed at all (it was close to sunrise here), they continued as usual.
I'm not their fan in the morning, soon after them business traffic will set in...

cheers, Tom

Here it’s quite cold at the moment, so no animals at night are moving regardless of moon eclipse or without it. By the way, this is something you may really like from Chile, it’s nature… it’s absolutely fantastic. There are hundreds of species you can see just around your home, flying here and there… I love birds!

Seeing at my house was awful last night. The surface of the moon looked like it was boiling thru my telescope. Turbulent atmosphere!

Here's a link to some really nice pics.

Cool pics on both accounts! For a handy cam, those shots are great At0mic!

I remember being in one in Manila a long time ago... That was quite erie! I'd like to witness a total solar eclipse someday...

Everytime we have some kind of "heavenly shows" like a meteor shower, they seem to always happen on a cloudy day - but I suppose that's just normal for Seattle...

It’s interesting to see the pictures at the first link, cos they are exactly as we sow it ourselves, but inclined about 15 other degrees to the right, so seen the inclination parallel to my own body.

Beautiful pictures appear later, melancholic ships and tranquil bridges ways. Beautiful.

The other pictures at the second link are of great! Cheers to both.
