due to the positive response to the Morpheus Patch i've created the first follow up - Monomorph!
As the name indicates...it's MONO, so don't try to play chords
This baby is not only for leads and basses but perfect for Arpeggio and Sequence sounds as well. As usual i deliver some samples to get an impression. I'm just at the beginning with creating presets. However it comes with more than 30 which cover a small variety of categories. And as usual i'm glad to hear what you think about it. It would be great if we could share some more presets in future not only created by me
If you're interested in advice on how to program Monomorph i could write some kind of tutorial when i find time.

Regards, Stefan

P.S. This Patch contains ModularIII modules although it comes in a Modular2 shell, but that's a too long story for writing it here. That means Modular2 users are left behind. Sorry folks...

P.P.S. I forgot to mention:
USE YOUR WHEEL !!!

Wonderful! This is one of the very best modular patches I have ever tested. I love the presets (I spent an hour just playing on them), and I love to create own sounds on this one. The arpeggios are great, and the punch is amazing. Well done! =)

Nope. Don't get it to work. I'm getting the error ' Car't find DSP file Modular II - please check installation '. And when I load the presetfile I get 'Presets are only 97,57% compatible'.

I got both Modular II and M3.

Any ideas?

Hi Ganool,
unfortunatly i don't know why you're asked about the dsp. I never got that error here. But how can you open the preset file if the dev itself doesn't show up?
About the preset error:
DAAMMMNNNN!!!!!!!
When i open the dev today i get the same error. And guess what....that stupid thing forgot all settings of the latest module i added (SpectralOSC). That buggy piece of Creamware software totally messed up again my work (Believe me or not, it took more time to get over the bugs than to do creative work on that Patch). I'm so fed up with this crap. I think i have to rebuild the Presets and hopefully find the right settings again. Meanwhile you can enjoy the Sound samples though

Maybe everyone else should refrain from downloading the Patch until i fixed it. It seems as if you don't get what you've been promised here
Sorry

If you're going to the trouble of rebuilding this how about doing it in a ModIII shell as this preset compatibility thing seems to happen lots on Mod2/III combo patches.

That REALLY sucks.

You are one of my favourite synthmakers in here, so whatever you do... don't give up.

Huh...
you mean you can open the Patch and all Presets appear without any error message? That's weired. Please somebody explain that to me. I still can't open my own preset file nor can i extend it or create a new one for that patch without errors.
Did you alter the file in any way or anything else?

FYI: I finished an extended version of the Monomorph already which i wanted to post here as well weeks ago. But i won't publish it until this wicked messed preset thingy is fixed.

Hi Stefan -I did not do anything different than usual.I loaded the preset file when the prompt appeared and found the preset file via "browse" and the double clicked on it to load it into the monomorph preset window.I had no problems at all.And it rocks!!I hope you can fix yours soon .regards Rod

Good news for all who like the Monomorph!!
After complete removeal of SFP and a new installation and a complete rewrite of the patch from scratch i manged to have a working slightly extended version of the Monomorph.
Please don't ask how and why because i simply don't know. Let's hope that this one will still work in a week and later on
I'm just "transalating" the old presets to the new patch which will take some time. But i guess it's worth waiting

Regards, Stefan

P.S. ...maybe it'll take a little longer than expected because my Reaktor 4 just arrived

ok that's it...
i'm out here. Whole thing is messed up again and i've no chance to extend the patch without compatibilty errors. Sorry folks but this crap does nothing than stealing my time (though it pleased me up to that point of no return).
I won't put my finger on that again until a bugfix is around. If anyone finds a solution... let me know.
