Luna - 16 or 24 bit audio card????

Hi everyone
As some of you knows,I recently joined creamware family,and I am very pleased with sound for now.But yesterday friend of mine tested my LUNA with sandra software under windows 98,and told me that record limit of this card is 16 bit !!!!!! Is this true or he is madman?I can record 24 bit in Cubase(maybe it is not 24 bit?).So please,somebody-HELP!

Your friend is a madman.......

You just have to choose the 24-bit ASIO-module in the software I/O-folder in the SFP-routing window.

Yes it is 16bits, 24bits, even 32bits... But even wavelab doesn't support 32bits...

It all depends on what driver you load...

Sandra is testing wav drivers so to test wav, try to delete those drivers in SFP and replace them by the 24bits wav source & dest....

WAV are limited by 24bits, but asio goes to 32bits

Guys,I just started with this...can you explain me how to choose 24 bits from software I/O folder...here is my setup:I created my own project that suits best my needs,so I'm starting sfp,then cubase,and I can't do anything in cubase because it is SLAVE.I put 44.1 samplerate in sfp,and 24 bit in Cubase.Is this right?Am I getting most of my card?I am BIG newbie to all this,and I am pretty confused.

It's like M. says. In SFP in the software I/O menu, there are 24bit *wav* devices and 24bit *asio* devices. For cubase, use the 24 or 32bit ASIO devices. For that guys test, you would need to select a 24bit WAV device. If I was doing the testing, I would make sure I fully understood the product I was testing BEFORE I came out with info like that!

Best thing you can do is read the manuals and try to get familiar with the sfp environment. Don't worry, you'll soon pick it up.
