The interface is magnificent!

I love this look... Don't know if it is useable and effective, but sure looks good.

It's been a long times since Orbitone got something new! This is good news!

Yes, it was a surprise to us - isn't that crazy?! We sent this to Creamware for release in January for Messe-- they got busy with their own things (noah, etc) until today, finally, it's up!

Now we're scrambling to get our press releases and web updates off the shelf where they've been collecting dust since january.

I'll have the website uploaded in the next half hour, with an audio demo, and the manual.

Meanwhile, enjoy this animated GIF, showing the complete UI:

Wow, the demo sounds promising and 129€ is a fair price I think.
I guess I´ll have a new vocoder soon.
Good work Orbitone!!

Cool! Is it just me or has there been more Scope development since SFP came out? I remember for a while right before 3.1 the developer community seemed pretty much dead. Now there are a lot of cool new devices that are really high-quality. The more the better!

About the time you posted this, the demo got online at http://www.planetz.com/orbitone . It's the full version, with 3minute time-out.

I played on it, this is really amazing. Me and the guys here never heared such a smooth non-metallic vocoder before - great job from orbitine!

Congratulations Orbitone, this seems to be a great device! However, as I already own the Vocodizer, I'm curious how Vorb sounds in comparison with it. I know, I should try the demo myself, but unfortunately I won't have access to my Creamware system the next couple of days, so it would be great if anybody could comment on this.

cheers,

This IS an amazing device!
All though I wish the X-Y was MIDI controllable like the Vectron? I will get it never the less.Maybe we can push for this in an update later!

Now excuse me while I dig for change in my couch!

If you go to the modulation page and assign controllers to the Q and Formant parameters, you will be able to tweak the X-Y pad like crazy

That's correct. The X-Y controller is fully MIDI controllable (and it's really fun and effective when you do!)

OOOPs my bad. Not enough time (for me that is)to figure that out with the demo!
Excellent!

Hey, I've graduated to "Budding Pulsarian"!
Hooray for me!Time to reward myself with a VORB!
