ACPI or PC mode with P4PE ???

I have Asus P4PE ,1 gb KINGSTON ddr333,P4 2.4 gb.
What is better way for mi to instal XP Profesionall -APIC or PC mode???
Can P4PE work normaly with audio in ACPI mode.
My opinion is that 845pe chipset can do this....

depends on what you are going to use the pc for...

if it is strictly for audio work (standalone without any bells or whistles) then standard pc might be best for you, because you won't need any more interrupts than the standard setup provides.

but if you want to add a bunch of extra pci cards, peripherals, or whatever, you will probably need the 24 interrupts that acpi gives.
