XTC Mode with Software Ver.3.1c and Windows XP and Logic 5.5

I tested today the XTC-Mode with my system, running windows XP and Logic ver.5.5 and all i did get was a lot of error messages like "script XY not found" etc... etc.. i think maybe at least 50 Error-Messages.
The system was completely new installed.
So i checked to reinstall my Scope-Fusion Platform and the same again ?!?

Anybody knows how i can get the XTC Mode to run ???

are you using a pulsar or an xtc card?

Hello!

In the case you are using a Pulsar 1 card (and not a Pulsar 2 card) you wont be able to use the XTC mode, as it is not supported by the Pulsar 1.

Pulsar 1 runs good in my systems Win98SE+XP in XTC mode. I use Cubase. SFP 3.1a has to be installed first, then the update to 3.1c.

Oops, sorry, it seems I am wrong. I have a Pulsar 1 card in my old PC running 2.04 pulsar OS, I have never tried installing the SFP 3.1 version to try it...but I had the impression that the Pulsar 1 could not work in XTC mode. It seems I am wrong! Sorry for the wrong information!

Problem solved !

(i am using Pulsar2!!!)

So here is the solution we worked out:

1. deinstall of Logic5.5 and SFP 3.1c
2. Install Logic5.5
3. install SFP3.1a
4. install Service Pack 1 for Windows XP

... after i installed the service pack everything did work fine.

But with the 3.1c update it did not work, but for us the 3.1a seems to be very good for using XTC mode.

The joke was that i had to install SFP3.1a 3 times til it worked really.
when i first installed it the synths were not running in XTC mode, when i installed the 2nd time some plugins did not work.
But when i installed it the 3rd time it worked !

(SFP is a crazy software, i´ve never seen a program which installs everytime a little bit different...)
