This is a piece I wrote for a singer called Miriam, which is puttting vocal on tomorrow (I will post new song). Her voice is making my knees week. She have very little experience, but she just opens her mouth and I loose everything around me...

I got exited about the STS-5000, which is making the distortion like thing in the beginning of the song. I modulate various parameters.

Again I have to praise the timeworks effects, mainly the EQ and reverb, for making everything sound nice to me.

SYNTHS : STS-5000, MODULAR III, SB404, TREE-O-TREE

EFFECTS : CREAMWARE TQDRIVE, EQS, COMPRESSORS, TIMEWORKS EQ, REVERB, COMPRESSOR X, MASTER COMPRESSOR

Wow! This track is rich! Reminds me of some Peter Gabriel style stuff, but of course it's your own sound! You must have worked a lot on this one, because it the over all balance and the textures are very well polished! Congratulations, I'm looking forward to hear it with the vocals!

i must agree completely with eliam. the sounds and beat are so... perfect. so is the bass line...

a super mood! dark, flavoured with some pain and sadness.
it's beautiful.

and all this, even without the voice...
i'm really curious...

Wow, I'm so happy you like this, course i've had the feeling that is was like too "epic" or something. The fact is the the singer hasn't even heard it yet. I'm nervous about her reaction. I know I wrote that she would put vocals on today, but that's actually gonna be tomorrow.

I must admit that i am very fond of mr. Gabriel. He makes just plain wonderful music, and be sure to check out his artists on the realworld label too. Some of this stuff is truely amazing and original. When you are there check out his recording studio as well, thats what I call an inspiring enviorement.

Dying to hear it with vocals as well, and I'll post something when we get further with this thing.

In the mean time, be square...
