Difference in ASIO, ASIO1 and ASIO2? Help - phasing!

Greetings fellow pulsarians.

Could anyone explain to me the difference in the different ASIO modules.

I recently changed from ASIO to ASIO2 hoping to improve the latency (use it for mic source) because I was experiencing significant latency and some slight phasing. Is this the right move?

Could anybody advise on how to get rid of this phasing (less evident in Logic than Cubase), or how to best setup PC/Cubase/Logic.

Hello there!

Have a look at the SFP pdf manual about the different ASIO drivers, all is explained there. As far as latency is concerned, to the best of my knowledge, there is not any difference between them.
Give more details about the phasing problems. When do you experience them? What is your audio signal path (hardware and software)? If you experience it when mixing with the STM mixers, turn the Phase Compensation on, and phasing will improve greatly.
