rewire using pulsar

Hi,

Is there any particular background setting i should have on my pulsar config to allow cubase sx and reason to re-wire together.

my friend has the exact same system as me but no pulsar card and his rewire works fine

im running p3 500 with xp and pulsar 1 sound board

any help would be great

you don't need special project.
you must activate rewire channels in cubase.

... also, in reasons preferences you must set audio driver to "asio scope" and all midi should be "no midi".
you must start cubase first than reason.

have you activated the Re-Wire-channels inside cubase?
It's not enough just to rewire Reason to Cubase, you have to "turn" each rewire-channel on.

There's something tricky about install procedure too:

1) Install SX
2) Install Reason & updates
3) install SX updates after installation of Rewire clients. this makes sure all Cubase Rewire is setup fine.

As an easy fix I sometimes reinstall latest SX update...

But run this checklist first:

Cubase has locked sample rate and Rewire channels are activated in Device menu, then open Reason. You should see Rewire channels in VST mixer (if they're set to 'show').

Do the transport bars sync fine?

If not, reinstall your latest SX update.

No nothing syncs because reason wont open without crashing

ive activated all rewire channels in sx
i think i only have to activate main l+r to get this working as thats what my mates does (and works fine)

ive re-installed sx but no joy still
